Stand Therefore

We live in a day where a war is raging over how we should think and what we should say.  Where freedom seems to be only for the liberal socialist left, but where Christians and Jews have to remain silent because they believe that we are the problem that hinders their globalist agenda.

As Christians we need to follow Ephesians 6:10 – 17:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

The Redefinition of the image of God and Jesus

In these last hours of these last days, we, the church, are in a war with those ideals of heresy that have infiltrated our ranks.  The one I will talk about here is a false image of God and His son Jesus.

Let’s look at what happened at Mount Sinai with the children of Israel shaping a golden calf for them to worship.

Exodus 32:7 – 8

7 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go down at once! For your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves. 8 How quickly they have turned aside from the way I commanded them. They have made for themselves a molten calf and have bowed down to it, sacrificed to it, and said, ‘O Israel, this is your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.’”…

The people were emulating what they saw happen in Egypt which is an ultimate example of worldliness in the Bible.  They pressed upon the priest to conform to their ideas of how worship should be.  We see how Aaron blamed the people for making him form a golden calf for them to worship and have their feast and “play”.  We see that they even shed off their clothes and went naked as they danced before the idol.  Idolatry always attracts and opens doors for demons of lust to come in.  Given long enough time to fester  the greater demons of Jezebel will come in as we see later in the history of Israel.  In summary, the people wanted a “god” that would be OK with their sin!  And so that is what we have today.  The people in the false church have cried out for their golden calf that is OK with whatever lifestyle the people want.  Hyper-grace is one of the most demonic heresies in church history!  I highly recommend you read Dr Michael Brown’s book on the subject: “Hyper-Grace: Exposing the Dangers of the Modern Grace Message”.

Stand on the whole of the Inerrant Word of God

Our foundation is God’s Word and not man’s word which in many cases reflects his rebellion against God.  Popular science today does its best to downplay scripture as fairy tales and just a book of stories.  However, God has revealed to us His character through His Word.  So from Genesis to Revelation, we are given what me need to know about God for us to live a holy and victorious Christian life!  Also many have distorted the word “Christian” in these last hours to mean what it definitely is not.  A Christian as defined in the Word of God is one who has repented at the cross, received Jesus as Lord, and is continually being sanctified in a life that has died unto Christ so that the new man lives.  Look at every verse where Apostle Paul warns the church with, “Do not be deceived…”.  You will see a stern warning against fellowship with the world and its lust.  Yes we are to STAND on the precious promises from all of scripture, given to us from our loving Father God, in order to hold on to Him until the end!  Nothing can separate us from His love as long as we stay in Him.  Do not be deceived!  Jesus came the first time as the Lamb but at the Second Coming He returns as the Lion of Judah!  It is so important that we do not make our own image of Christ through man’s religion but that we, by the Teacher who is the Holy Spirit, see the real image of Jesus.  He came to destroy the works of darkness, and free us from sin.  He is not a band-aid or a medicine; He is the cure!

1 John 3:9 Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

Stand on the correct side of the CROSS

If you are backslidden or you want to come to the cross of Jesus and receive Him as your Lord, pray this prayer.

Jesus, I come to you as I am.  I am a sinner who needs your sacrifice for me on the cross.  I repent of my sins and lay them down at the cross and turn away from them to follow you Jesus as my Lord.  I surrender to you Jesus and make you Lord of my life.  Amen

If you prayed that prayer welcome to the family of God.  Find a Bible and start reading the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.  Also, find a church that believes and teaches the inerrant Word of God.  Now go tell others, spread the Good News that Jesus saves, heals, and delivers today!
